Laura Madden
#CompassionAlliance

After 30 years of working in Washington DC on public policy and programs, ranging from community, economics and environmental projects to engagement and advocacy on conservation, sustainability, agriculture and water resources, I returned to community.  It started as a rising of ideas, launching Phoenix Consults LLC as a way to identify, support and engage with entrepreneurs and organizations committed to growing and advancing models of change at the grassroots and community level.   Seeking to shine a light on #ExcellencefortheGreaterGood, I networked with emergent movements like the Citizens Climate Lobby, Transition Towns, Compassionate Cities Alliance and the Pachamama Alliance.  Returning to my home  "town" of St. Louis in 2018, I am committed to finding ways to advance resilient community and human BEING in any way I can.  Themes of attention include community, connection, partnership, prosperity, regeneration and resilience.
